This session unpacks the basics of AI, machine learning and generative AI-what they are, how they differ, and why it matters. We'll explore how Adobe is approaching genAI with responsibility and transparency: using licensed data, compensating creators and building tools that support creative workflows rather than replace them. Most importantly, we'll dive into what machines do well (spoiler: it's not inspiring students) and what only humans can bring - like empathy, imagination and emotion. Plus, we'll share a few real-world examples of how educators are using genAI in their classrooms.
