AP + DECA Competitive Events Toolkit
The AP + DECA Competitive Events Toolkit provides resources to connect the AP Business with Personal Finance course to DECA’s Competitive Events Program. The toolkit provides an anchor document with an overview of alignment strength and references to the AP Business with Personal Finance course. Organized by unit, additional resources are provided that demonstrate the correlation between AP Business with Personal Finance course and specific components of DECA’s competitive events. In addition, case studies are formatted similar to DECA to assist with introducing the case study format and familiarizing course students to DECA’s competitive events. This resource was developed by DECA chapters advisors field testing the AP Business with Personal Finance course, in collaboration with College Board and DECA Inc. staff.
