Her career in education spans 25 years, including ten years as a marketing educator and DECA advisor at Allen High School in Texas and seven years at Liberty High School in Colorado. Providing her students a hands-on learning laboratory with practical experiences to reinforce classroom instruction, Sue led a school-based enterprise utilizing five divisions: finance, purchasing, marketing, production and operations. The student-run operation earned DECA’s Gold-level School-based Enterprise Certification each year and posted an annual revenue of over $140,000. During her tenure, Sue has served as a Career and Technical Education department head and business team lead. She has been a presenter at both the association and DECA Inc. levels for school-based enterprises.

Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Adams State University in Colorado.

Sue has worked for DECA since 2025.
