Janelle began her career at DECA Inc., as communications manager, where she transformed DECA’s communications strategy into the digital era through social media strategies that generated millions of impressions and expanded DECA’s digital reach with the launch of DECA Direct Online. During this time, DECA Inc. earned three ASAE Gold Circle awards. She then spent time as marketing director for Northern Virginia Orthodontics, the nation's #1 Invisalign provider, and regional sales and marketing manager for Smile Doctors, the largest dental service organization in the country. During her time there, Janelle helped launch one of the first orthodontic-supervised at-home aligner treatment systems—now a nationwide product, and partnered with Invisalign to develop strategies for high-production generating events in clinics throughout the country.

Janelle holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies and Media Arts & Design from James Madison University.
