Anjelica Michael is the Communications Specialist for DECA Inc. Her main responsibilities are to serve as the concierge to new chapters and chapter advisors, manage communication to our members, and serve as the main point of contact for inquiries. Anjelica also manages the online submission, evaluation and reward processes of DECA’s Chapter Campaigns, Emerging Leader Honor Awards, and assists with DECA’s educational conferences. Anjelica began her history with DECA as a high school student and continued to charter a Collegiate DECA chapter at George Mason University in 2010. Anjelica continued her involvement with DECA by volunteering with both local and Virginia state conferences as president and vice president of human resources for Virginia Collegiate DECA. Anjelica holds a bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from George Mason, as well as a master’s degree in English and Humanities from Marymount University.
