Anjelica Michael is the program specialist of DECA’s high school division. Her responsibilities include providing project management for DECA’s high school division programs and serving as the front-line point for inquiries. Anjelica also manages the online submission, evaluation and reward processes of DECA’s Chapter Campaigns, Emerging Leader Honor Award and School-based Enterprise certifications, and provides support for DECA’s educational conferences.
Anjelica began her history with DECA as a high school student and continued to charter a Collegiate DECA chapter at George Mason University in 2010. Anjelica continued her involvement with DECA by volunteering with both local and Virginia state conferences as president and vice president of human resources for Virginia Collegiate DECA. Anjelica holds a bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from George Mason, as well as a master’s degree in English and Humanities from Marymount University.
