DECA PARTNERSHIP
Johnson & Wales University is internationally renowned for its strength in experiential education, and for its active engagement in DECA. We attract hundreds of high school DECA students each year who are looking to continue their affiliation in college to further their professional development, build their résumés and deepen their leadership skills.
Internships are a core part of our education. It’s how many of our students find their first job. In 2015-2016, more than 3,600 students interned at sites in 50 states and 32 countries. More than 3,100 on-campus interviews were conducted that same year. JWU’s nationally recognized program has been honored with the William M. Burke Presidential Award for Excellence in Experiential Education, presented by the National Society for Experiential Education.
