Internships are a core part of our education. It’s how many of our students find their first job. In 2020, more than 2,107 students interned at sites in 47 states and 28 countries. More than 2,502 on-campus interviews were conducted that same year. How Employees Can Engage with DECA
Johnson & Wales University is a strong supporter of DECA and encourages employees to become involved. Our staff and faculty serve as resources for students. For example, our marketing faculty advises National DECA. They also help coach students for regional and national competitions and serve as competition judges. The university also supports DECA by providing facilities for the state conference, as well as for leadership conferences.
