The Boston University School of Hospitality Administration (SHA) partners with DECA to recruit students who are ready to be immersed in the hospitality field, learning from world-class industry professionals, respected researchers, and seasoned veterans from around the globe.

Hospitality isn’t just any career. It’s the world’s largest and fastest-growing industry, encompassing travel, hotels, food service, and entertainment. Above all, it’s about people. And it offers you dozens of worldwide career paths to success.

In this dynamic field, graduates of the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration have a head start. Their remarkably high job-placement rates and starting salaries – some of the highest of all BU graduates – prove it. Thousands of SHA alumni are excelling globally in leadership roles throughout the industry.

At the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, students get the best of both academic worlds: a rigorous, industry-specific management education taught by the School’s full-time faculty, and a broad liberal arts education drawing on courses offered by the University’s other schools and colleges.

In SHA’s full-time, four-year bachelor’s degree program, you’ll learn how to manage a staff, set prices, market a hospitality business, and much more, all using the latest technology. Our one-year Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) graduate program is an exciting program for students with strong business or liberal arts backgrounds, or professionals in the hospitality industry who want to remain competitive in their careers. Our curriculum is carefully crafted and frequently reviewed by industry professionals who know what it takes to become a successful hospitality manager. Both programs combine engaging classroom learning and required field experiences, all while utilizing the proximity of Boston’s bustling hospitality industry.
