Collegiate DECA chapters can best serve their members, schools, and communities by offering activities throughout the year in the areas of leadership, community service, and professional development.
The Leadership Passport Program encourages local chapters and individual members to plan activities and participate in events that enhance the experiences of members. The leadership passport rewards action taken by members and chapter that build personal and professional skill sets focused around the organization’s four principle attributes and values: Competence, Innovation, Integrity, and Teamwork. Members and chapters earning the various levels of Passport success will be recognized at the International Career Development Conference.
Collegiate DECA's competitive events program is an incredible tool for your curriculum. As an integral part of the campus, DECA's industry-validated competitive events are aligned with National Curriculum Standards. The potential for travel, recognition and awards for demonstrating classroom content is a tremendous motivator.
Collegiate DECA conferences are targeted, highly focused experiential learning experiences for students and advisors, bringing members into the larger DECA community while providing unique opportunities to extend classroom learning. Conferences connect students and advisors with corporate professionals through professional networking and industry-related seminars.
With the school year in full swing, student organizations are holding events to raise funds, promote awareness, and increase membership. What separates Collegiate DECA chapters from other student organizations? It's our ability to innovate and help our chapters succeed. The Collegiate DECA chapter at Fort Hays State University has contributed the following resources for use by other chapters.
If your chapter would like to use the official Collegiate DECA logo on chapter materials, such as flyers and brochures, please email publications@deca.org to request a logo agreement form.
