Connor Brashear

Central Region Vice President

Your Central Region Vice President, Connor Brashear, is a four-year DECA member from Washington, Ind., who served as the Indiana DECA association president.

As association president, Connor helped raise $20,000 for community projects and implemented changes to the Indiana Career Development Conference. Connor is also a successful DECA competitor, placing first at the 2012 DECA International Career Development Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the Stock Market Game.

Connor is heavily involved in activities outside of DECA, including running his own nonprofit organization, the Daviess County Network Project Corporation. Connor’s other interests include playing the guitar and piano and he has enjoyed starting for the Washington Hatchet’s semi-state finalist varsity soccer team for the past four years.

Connor will attend Indiana University in the fall of 2013, where he will be a student in the Kelley School of Business. He plans on majoring in marketing and international business and eventually pursuing a career in such fields. Connor is looking forward to serving the members of the Central Region and hopes to extend his DECA involvement far into the future.
