Cara Gooch

President

Cara Nicole Gooch, your Collegiate DECA President, has been a member of DECA since her freshman year of high school.

Cara has had a wide range of leadership experience within Collegiate DECA including association president for Missouri in 2012-2013 and chapter president of the Missouri Southern State University chapter. In addition to DECA, Cara is involved in the Honors Program, Epsilon Mu Sigma, and FCCLA. She has also coordinated various community service projects and successfully organized the high school DECA district competition hosted at her university.

Cara will graduate in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management, as well as a minor in public relations. In the future, Cara hopes to help others realize their dreams and reach their full potential. She one day hopes to take this passion and use it to help foster children, who are no longer eligible for foster care, by providing them with housing and helping them achieve their own dreams of attending college and starting a career.

Cara is looking forward to helping Collegiate DECA members “earn a profit” during the upcoming year through member involvement, fundraising and networking.
