Ed Davis

Edward Davis, Ed.D., serves as the executive director and chief executive officer of DECA Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe with members in all 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico and Puerto Rico. DECA reaches more than 200,000 high school and college members each year.

Beginning his affiliation with DECA as a high school member, Ed has served DECA in roles of increasing responsibility including chapter advisor, state advisor and associate executive director. He was named executive director in 1992.

Ed completed his Doctorate in Education at the University of Georgia in 1977. He also holds certification as a Certified Association Executive. He serves on the board of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Johnson and Wales University, People to People Leadership Programs and the National Coordinating Council for Career and Technical Student Organizations.

Ed has worked with more than 100 companies, associations and foundations to create innovative partnerships in areas such as youth entrepreneurship, financial literacy, employment and college readiness.
