Patrick Cheney

Patrick Cheney is DECA Inc.’s director of finance and administration. He oversees all financial activities of the organization and provides services in the areas of accounting, human resources and employee benefits. Patrick also serves as DECA Inc.’s liaison to audit and financial institutions and responds to financial and tax return inquiries from DECA’s chartered associations. Finally, he oversees the execution of DECA’s annual group tax return.

Prior to joining the DECA staff in 2006, Patrick worked as an accountant at a national nonprofit organization. He holds a master’s degree in administrative management with a concentration in accounting from Bowie State University.
