Janelle Scudder

Janelle coordinates many of DECA's communications activities. She manages the new DECA Direct Online and social media correspondent program, contributes to the DECA Direct magazine and manages DECA's social media community.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies – Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts & Design – Corporate Communication from James Madison University. In addition, she has multiple experiences in event planning, fundraising and marketing. Some of her highlights include working on various advertising and brand awareness campaigns for multiple clients and assisting with the Robert F. Kennedy Center where she planned and executed a large-scale, multi-day conference which included activities and programming and various Kennedy family homes.
