Northwood University’s mission is to develop the future leaders of a global, free enterprise society. The Northwood- DECA partnership has been strong since 1984. The University offers bachelor's and master’s degrees in marketing, management, accounting, hospitality, sports marketing and more. Northwood residential campuses are located in West Palm Beach, Florida; Midland, Michigan; Cedar Hill, Texas, as well as program centers in 8 states and four countries: China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Switzerland.

Student Scholarships:

Ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 annually for up to four years. All incoming freshmen who have been admitted and participated in DECA during their senior year will be considered. Students must have a 2.7 GPA and have submitted a letter of recommendation from their advisor. See link below for application.

Partnership Activities:

• Serves on the National Advisory Board (NAB) and Executive Committee
• Advertises in DECA publications
  
• Recruits personnel as judges for local and state career development conferences
• Hosts annual Mock DECA competition on Texas campus to prepare local students for District competition
• Hosts District conferences on our Michigan and Florida campuses
• Sponsor of Sports & Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making Event
• Exhibits at state and regional conferences
• In 2010, awarded over a $1 million dollars in DECA student scholarships and over $8 million dollars in Freshman Academic scholarships
• Exhibits at international conference
