Kmart is one of DECA’s most important business partners and, through its parent Sears Holding Corporation, has served on DECA’s National Advisory Board and Executive Committee since their founding, in 1959.

Together, Kmart and DECA have worked to:

  • Develop the generation’s workforce in marketing and merchandising.
  • Support teacher training and proffessional development.
  • Promote the Sears Holdings Corporation’s brands, products and services as dynamic learning opportinities that support classroom teaching, student achievement – and overall college and career readiness.
