New DECA Advisors

Welcome

Congratulations for joining a network of 5,000 educators who enrich their classroom and extend learning through DECA. There’s no doubt that you will prepare many students to be college and career ready by incorporating DECA into your instruction.

Many years ago, I found myself in your same position. I was a new advisor and a first-year teacher, as well as a career-switcher, and I was helping to start a new chapter. Fortunately, I had an incredible mentor and experienced teacher by my side every step of the way. My hope for you is that you find the resources that DECA provides just as valuable as if you had a mentor by your side 24/7.

We are committed to helping you and your student members as you begin this rewarding adventure, and we’re here to help along each step! This webpage is designed to give you the resources needed to be a hero in the eyes of your students. In addition, monthly e-mails and webinars will be powerful tools for you.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
