DECA's educational partners provide visibility and support to DECA's mission. They also provide learning opportunities for students and curriculum resources and professional development in industry content for DECA advisors.

CURRICULUM RESOURCES

• Career Clusters
  The National Career Clusters™ Framework provides a vital structure for organizing and delivering quality CTE programs through learning and comprehensive programs of study (POS). In total, there are 16 Career Clusters in the National Career Clusters™ Framework, representing more than 79 Career Pathways to help students navigate their way to greater success in college and career. The National Career Clusters™ Knowledge and Skills statements are a comprehensive collection of industry-validated expectations of what students should know and be able to do after completing instruction in a career program area. DECA's programs are designed to support the marketing, finance, hospitality and business management career clusters.
  
• MBAResearch
  MBAResearch is a leader in the development of programs, strategies, and curricula to prepare students for career-oriented, leadership positions in business and marketing. MBAResearch supports educators in the preparation of students for careers in business and marketing. National Curriculum Standards in marketing, finance and business management are available to download from MBAResearch.

SUPPORTING AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS

• Association for Career and Technical Education
  A professional organization for career and technical education professionals, the Association for Career and Technical Education is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers. ACTE is committed to enhancing the job performance and satisfaction of its members; to increasing public awareness and appreciation for career and technical programs; and to assuring growth in local, state and federal funding for these programs by communicating and working with legislators and government leaders.
  
• Career and Technical Education
  Career Technical Education (CTE) is helping our nation meet the very real and immediate challenges of economic development, student achievement and global competitiveness. Learn about the CTE vision and mission as well as current policy and legislation.
• Department of Education | Office of Vocational and Adult Education
  The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE) administers, coordinates programs that are related to adult education and literacy, career and technical education, and community colleges. The Division of Career and Technical Education is responsible for helping all students acquire challenging academic and technical skills and be prepared for high-skill, high-wage, or high-demand occupations in the 21st century global economy.
• Global Entrepreneurship Week
  During one week each November, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. DECA is a recognized global partner of the week, which provides a variety of activities for DECA chapters.
• National Association of Secondary School Principals
  The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) promotes excellence in middle level and high school leadership through research-based professional development, resources, and advocacy so that every student can be prepared for postsecondary learning opportunities and be workforce ready. NASSP lists DECA conferences on its National Advisory List of Student Contests and Activities based on exceeding standards in educational value, financial support, organizational structure and fair, appropriate adjudication.
