DECA and MyEdu deliver success to high school students nationwide

Today DECA announced its partnership with MyEdu - an established academic platform for college students - to bring a college and career preparation program to high school students across the United States.

This partnership provides DECA members and advisors with official academic and career information to prepare high school students for college and beyond. As a benefit, MyEdu will provide curriculum information to DECA advisors to help them instruct their students about preparing for college and earning a degree to best prepare students for their career of choice.

“MyEdu’s academic data provides high school students and their parents transparency and information about colleges, degrees, tuition prices and career choices,” said MyEdu’s VP of Corporate Marketing, Karen Holst. “By working directly with high school students we will be able to do our part in preparing the next generation of college students for their academic and career endeavors.”

In addition to its current partnership, MyEdu will provide DECA members with an online set of academic tools to help students explore careers, college and degrees – including special features developed for DECA students and high school advisors. This includes a customized DECA college and career ready portion of the site.

“As DECA continues preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers and college, this new partnership will provide our members with pertinent information to make educated decisions about their future,” said Ed Davis, Executive Director of DECA.
