DECA and Publix Announce Finalists in 2010-2011 Publix Brand Champion Challenge

Publix Super Markets announced the three finalist teams for the 2010-2011 DECA/Publix Brand Champion Challenge.

The finalists are:

Participants in the DECA/Publix Brand Champion Challenge were asked to develop a fully-integrated employment branding program that effectively communicates why Publix is a great place to work for the 16- to 25-year-old age group. Participants presented unique strategies to Publix executives through a video presentation posted on YouTube.

On March 29, the finalists will travel to Publix's corporate headquarters in Lakeland, FL to present their strategies to Publix executives in person. Publix will select an overall winning presentation and award those students with a cash prize of $1,000.
