DECA announces DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge Winner

Three teams of DECA members were named finalists in the first-ever DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge.
Participants in the DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge presented ideas to launch innovative business concepts via videos posted on YouTube. DeVry University challenged DECA members to design, develop and present ideas for innovative business concepts that are financially viable.
The top three participants (or participant teams) were invited to attend DECA's Innovations and Entrepreneurship Conference in San Diego, CA.

Congratulations to Mariel Reiss from Great Neck South High School (NY) for being named the winner of the 2010-2011 DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge!
As the winner, Mariel will receive a trip to Chicago to meet executives from DeVry University and their corporate partners. Additionally, Mariel's expenses to DECA's International Career Development Conference in Orlando will be paid for by DeVry.
