FIDM Challenge 2012-2013 Winners Announced

Participants in The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Challenge were tasked to translate a seasonal fashion trend into a "look" depicting the researched fashion forecast. Challenge participants then made presentations to FIDM executives and instructors via videos posted on YouTube.

After evaluating all entries, FIDM has announced the top 3 entries:

First Place: Bergen County Academies (Hackensack, NJ), team of Mary Heck and Erica Golubovsky

Second Place: Monta Vista High School (Cupertino, CA), team of Sanjeev Ranga and Nancy Chang

Third Place: Blue Springs High School (Blue Springs, MO), Alaina Aylward

The top three teams will be recognized on stage at DECA's International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California. The grand prize winning team will be awarded a travel stipend to attend the International Career Development Conference.
