About the Project
bataFILMS and DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi are proud to announce the launch of our Entertainment Marketing Project! This project provides DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi advisors an exciting new partner for teaching entertainment marketing, students actual entertainment products around which they can apply their classroom learning and fundraiser for chapters – the more you learn; the more you sell; the more you earn!
About the Film
The Project revolves around bataFILMS' first full–length feature comedy, the Strip, to be released in select theaters on December 4th, 2009. the Strip is a PG–13, character driven comedy. See our trailer at www.batafilms.com.
Project Overview and Timeline
This project presents an entirely new vision for entertainment marketing and bataFILMS views project participants as our partners in this new vision! Participants will be official licensees of our products and direct contributors to the refinement of our business model. Participants and advisors will have access to proprietary research and analysis that will give you unique insight into this dynamic industry and help you to develop a winning plan.
Stage One: Submit Your Entertainment Marketing Plan Online by Oct. 30th
Stage Two: Execute Your Plan and Track Results Until March 30th
Stage Three: Evaluation and Recommendations due April 7th

Member Prizes
- 1st Place Teams (Release Market & Non–Release Market) $3,000
- 2nd Place Teams (Release Market & Non–Release Market) $2,000
- 3rd Place (Release Market & Non–Release Market) $1,000
Chapter & Association Advisor Prizes
The winning teams' advisors (primary) and the association advisors (primary) with the highest sales volume (and their spouse/guest) will be bataFILMS' guests at the San Diego Comic Con Film & Comedy Festival, July 22–25, 2010.
