Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy

Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy

The Collegiate Leadership Academy is held every year in bright and energetic NEW YORK CITY, “the city that never sleeps!” Accommodations will be at the historic Hotel Pennsylvania across from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, steps away from a variety of shops restaurants, and blocks away from Times Square!

Experience NYC in a professional way—gain valuable experience in teamwork and leadership skills as you navigate the streets of New York; access jobs and internships while you network with industry professionals and DECA sponsors; build lifelong relationships with other DECA members!

Learn what great leaders do to create winning teams, strategies for effective communication, conflict management and much more! Attendees will participate in discussions and consultation with business and industry leaders on preparing for today's marketplace. Students will be divided into case-study teams within each industry track. Through company and institution visits, corporate leader discussions and behind-the-scenes tours, you will learn the latest industry trends and apply them to your case study. Then your team will present your solutions in a panel of industry leaders, including members of the DECA National Advisory Board!
