This past month, I spent four days in Orlando, Florida with the rest of Team 65 for our mid-year conference. We were also lucky to have the Collegiate DECA National Officers in attendance. It was especially cool because I had never been to Florida before, so it was nice to see Disney World. We spent the weekend going over information for the International Career Development Conference in April. I am proud to say that I know we will have an amazing conference this year. The best part of the meeting was to reconnect with the rest of the team. I hadn’t seen them in several months and it was so nice to catch up face to face.

The next week after mid-year, I spent the weekend in Austin, Texas. I was there to visit my friend Tyler, and to take a campus visit of the University of Texas at Austin. We went to the Missouri vs. Texas basketball game on Saturday night. It was kind of embarrassing because I was the only Missouri fan in the entire Texas student section - plus Missouri lost. I loved the city of Austin and the campus. I will have to make a very tough decision for next year, either the University of Missouri or the University of Texas. I hope I can make my decision soon so I can start to register for housing. Wish me luck.
