Sometimes in life, we often become lackadaisical in things that we are so familiar with. For example, going back to school can get old. I urge you to go back to school with a new determination. DECA members don’t just do the minimal – they achieve the maximum. What’s the maximum? The maximum is doing all you can do for your DECA chapters and State Associations. Go back to your DECA Chapters with fresh ideas and positive attitudes.

One bad attitude can spoil the bunch. Remember your attitude will determine your altitude. You, the member, will determine how far ahead you will go in DECA by your attitude towards it. “We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history.” This is a strong quote that we all should take into consideration.

Finally to be the best you must do your best!
