This past month was awesome for me! We had training and the SOLT Conference. That was one of the most interesting, exciting, and rewarding 10 days of my life, I have never felt closer to anyone as quickly as I did with Team 65. Getting a chance to Connect with State and Chapter Officers from all over the country was an awesome opportunity.

As soon as I got back from Washington D.C., I went to the Wayne State College campus in Wayne, Nebraska for a 5 day leadership workshop that brings in primarily student council members and other student leaders from across the state. It was a very enlightening experience for me to be surrounded by other staff members, some of which have been on this staff for over 20 years, and are very successful in their daily lives.

Aside from those two trips, a good friend of mine purchased a project car for a few of us to work on and restore to a like-new condition, cars have always been a passion of mine so it has been fantastic finally being able to get my hands dirty and get to work! All in all this month was fantastic and one of the best months of my life.
