This has been one of the best summer’s of my life! These past couple months have been full of exciting memories and new friends. It has been going by so fast and I am not ready for it to end. I am going to be very sad when I have to say goodbye to all my friends this fall when they all head off to college.

In this past month, I was invited to attend the Colorado DECA State Officer Training in Breckinridge, Colorado. It was a great feeling to be back up there for the second year in a row and be with some of best Colorado Career and Technical Student Organizations. I was up there for one day and I watched while they worked with Tri-Leadership. After the training was over, several of the state officers and I went to lunch at Smash Burger. It was a lot of fun to get to know each of them on much more of a personal level. Colorado DECA also invited me to attend the Western Region Officer Training Camp this July in Denver, Colorado. I would suggest that if you are a chapter/state/provincial officer to attend this conference. You will be able to stay in the dorm rooms at Johnson and Wales University and also work with the amazing people of Tri-Leadership. Plus, you will get to network with other DECA Members from all over the nation and even go to the Denver Six Flags! Let me know if you have any questions.
