You Can Do Anything, Just Not Everything

If you are a member of DECA, you have a knack for doing it all. It’s just who we are. During the next month, I challenge you to prioritize. As go-getters, it can be difficult to turn down an opportunity. We should keep in mind through, that not completely committing to something about which you are passionate is not productive.

You will be more successful in interviews and the workplace if you can refer to experiences through which you realized your fullest potential. So do yourself a favor; don’t spread yourself too thin! Instead, discover what you are passionate about and make it matter!

With competition around the corner, make a commitment to it! Sit down with some hot chocolate and a practice test, or use your lunch hour to find sponsors for your project. If you dedicate a small amount of time each day to achieving your goals, you’re almost certain to be successful!
