For DECA members, this quote delves into a quality each of us keeps close to our heart: motivation. Through the experiences we have had on a local, state and international level, staying determined has always been self-driven.

For those members who will be graduating this year, I wish you best of luck with your future endeavors. You have made your mark, and will truly be missed. I believe DECA will aid you in your future experiences as it has done for me.

For those members who I will have the pleasure and opportunity of getting to know in the upcoming year, we will continue to THRIVE as we share the value of our organization with other students, community members and elected officials. Summer is a great time to seize opportunity. Use the next few months to explore how you can prepare for the upcoming year and make the most of your DECA experience. The more you put into this organization, the more you will receive in return.
