Someone once told me that teamwork can be summed up in four short words: believe in each other. Somewhere along the road, I realized how true those four short words were. Believing in each other is more than simple support or reinforcement; believing in each other is being confident that the members of your team are capable of providing amazing outcomes. As I look back on where this realization came from, all I can think of is DECA. DECA believes in its members, while DECA members believe in each other.

DECA members, whether you know it or not, you are apart of a team. Your team includes the brightest and the most driven students around the world. You are apart of Team DECA. The strength of your team though, solely relies on the effort you put into it. This month, I challenge you to embrace Team DECA. Embrace the opportunity you have to communicate and learn from the members within your team. If everyone embraced the opportunities DECA has to offer, I can only imagine the strength Team DECA would acquire. You have the capability of being the strongest and most successful, all you need is a little help from your team. Go out and make your team the best it could possibly be. Go out and make Team DECA stronger than the world has ever seen.
