New Year/New Responsibilities

2012-01-06

Can you believe it? We have now begun the 2012 year. For all seniors who are counting down the days until graduation, make this time worthwhile. There are only five more months left of this school year and time continues to fly by. I truly hope each of you had a fun, exciting and safe winter break; unfortunately, it is now time to get back into study mode. But thankfully, that means it is now time to get back into DECA mode! I would like to wish you luck during both your district and state competition; I am very much looking forward to seeing all of you at this year’s ICDC.

With the New Year comes new responsibilities. As the countdown for 2012 approached many of you created new year's resolutions. If you were one to start a new year's resolution, make sure it lasts! My new year's resolution this year is to manage my stress in an effective way. I can gratefully say that so far I have spent my winter break with friends and family, which has completely eliminated any and all stress of mine. If you have an interesting or really good new year's resolution, I want to hear about it! Send me a message on Facebook or my email. I would love to hear about your resolution and how it has affected the beginning of your school year. Feel free to contact me at any time. Again, good luck with competition and don’t forget to stick to that resolution!
