Farewell 2011

2011-12-28

Greetings, Collegiate DECA members!

I hope the Christmas Holidays have treated each and every one of you well.
It seems, as college students, that our time away from school is filled with catching up on the things that have somehow missed a place on the agenda. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I promise. We, as young professionals, should bask in these tedious times and absorb as much knowledge as we possibly can. Being over delegated does not apply to Collegiate DECA members, because we CAN handle any situation with precision and excellence. Witnessing personal and professional development at The Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy in New York City this past November supports my opinion and endorsement of such a phenomenal co-curricular student organization.
Building a foundation based on Collegiate DECA’s guiding principles fosters growth in volumes one must see to believe. The Passport program, both individual and chapter, requires the documentation of involvement, support, or sometimes even simply attendance to a list of Collegiate DECA approved functions. The process is very simple and the final product is quite the chapter to add to one’s portfolio. The guidelines and submission forms can be found on the website under College-Chapter Resources.

I hope goals for 2011 were exceeded beyond expectations. As the year 2012 approaches I encourage all to seize the unfathomable opportunities as they are presented, and ASPIRE HIGHER!

Graciously,

Dakota Dale
