Whether you are staying at home or visiting someplace new, I hope that your summer is transforming into one to remember! This year’s SOLT Conference just ended and the national officers and myself found it to be an incredibly worthwhile experience. Each year the SOLT Conference brings together officers from around the country in the historical environment of Washington DC. For those who attended, I hope that you enjoyed the excellent workshops and the special trip to DECA headquarters, as well as being in the nation's capital.

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer vacation. While relaxing at the beach or traveling across the country, I ask you bring DECA with you every step of the way. Traveling is the perfect way to promote DECA! By simply sitting next to someone on an airplane, you can discuss our organization and leave them curious and excited about what we have to offer. Bringing up DECA in a casual conversation expands not only your network but DECA’s as well. Your summer vacation should include everything you love! Do not let DECA slip away.
